The undersigned
hereby makes application for Electric Service at the above address and
agrees to pay for said service as measured by the EPB meter according to
rate applicable. The applicant agrees to permit authorized agents
of the EPB free access to the premises of the consumer for the purpose
of inspecting, reading, repairing or removing property of EPB. The EPB
shall have the right, but shall not be obligated, to inspect any
installation before electric service is introduced, or at any later
time, and reserves the right to reject any wiring or appliances not in
accordance with EPB's standards; but such
inspection or failure to inspect or reject shall not be regarded as an
insurance against defects in installation, wiring or appliances and shall
not render EPB liable or responsible for any loss or damage, resulting from
defects in the installation, wiring or appliances, or from violation of the
EPB's Rules and Regulations, or from accidents which may occur upon
customer's premises. The applicant agrees that this application is
subject to the EPB's Rules and Regulations, as presently in effect, a copy
of which is open for inspection at the office of EPB, and that these Rules
and Regulations are a part of this agreement.

Transferring Service
If you are moving to a new address, we must compare your existing deposit to
the required deposit for the new address. If the existing deposit on file
is equal to or greater than the required deposit for the new address, your
deposit will transfer. If the required deposit for the new address is
greater then you are required to pay the difference. A $25 transfer fee applies to all transfers.
Required Deposit
For residential
electrical service, the required deposit will be $125.00
For commercial electrical service, the required deposit will be two times the average
of the 12 most recent bills at that particular address.
*If no history has been established or the commercial property
is not going to be used as a similar business, we will use the average of
another business comparable in size and type.
Temporary Service
Customers are responsible for arrangements with private contractors
for temporary services and they must be inspected prior to having a meter set.
